Happy Valentine's Day

A fun way to celebrate any holiday is with a special meal.  {This Little Project} was a yummy one!  We like joining in with the fun at Muffin Tin Monday.

If you haven't tried a muffin tin meal you are in for a treat! Today's theme was pink and red for Valentine's Day.

Our muffin tin meal was heart toast to dip in pizza sauce, red jello and applesauce, strawberry jam heart breads, a juice, and m&m's with a candy kiss.

We left these with the kids and the babysitter and my husband and I went for a quick lunch-just the two of us!  The kiddos didn't even feel left out :)

Wishing you a Happy Valentine's Day!

Muffin Tin Monday

Somehow Monday sneeks up on me and I forget until Tuesday how fun it is to do muffin tin lunches on MONDAY! But today we remembered on the right day to join in with the theme of "leftovers" at this blog. Today we had bagels, yogurt, applesauce, apples, grapes, pretzels, and cheese. They think eating lunch is a treat this way, and it's easy to personalize for different tastes too.

If you haven't tried using muffin tins for lunches, give it a whirl.
Your kiddos will LOVE {This Little Project}.

By the way, the IKEA cups fit perfectly inside :)
Have a yummy {Little Project}.

Eat your HEART out: My Muffin Tin Monday

Today I decided to join in on Muffin Tin Monday. What a fun idea from Michelle at Her Cup Runneth Over. I have a great love for making muffins and cupcakes (ok, almost an obsession) and so when I saw this fun idea, I had to try it out.

This is how it works: You feed your family a meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) in a muffin tin. Sounds fun huh? There is a theme to help get your ideas flowing. Todays was Valentines/Red.
PERFECT! Because being the muffin/cupcake lover that I am, I have a HEART muffin pan!

Our Muffin Meal? From L-Right: Red juice, strawberry yogurt , nacho cheese chips, strawberry-applesauce, NIBS, tomato dipping sauce for our heart breads. These are all things my kids LOVE to eat so it was a lot of fun to do together :)

The next fun part: Everyone can join in the sharing of the Muffin Tin Monday Meals. You can send your photo to Michelle (vistamommy(at)yahoo(dot)com) or add it to the Flicker group on her blog to join in the fun and see what others are doing too.

Today is our first Muffin Tin Monday...and I'm sure it won't be our last :)

Eat your Heart out! What a yummy Little Project! I hope you join the fun!
